If your Wi-Fi is lagging or you're unable to connect to the internet, you can try resetting your modem with these steps:

  1. Find the reset button, usually located on the back of the modem.
  2. Using a pencil or pen tip, gently press the small button.
  3. Hold the reset button down until the red and green lights on the front of your modem start flashing.
  4. After five or so minutes, the “internet” button on the front of the modem should flash green.
  5. Try reconnecting to the internet on your phone or computer.
  6. Reenter any account information you're prompted to when you connect, such as the Wi-Fi password.
