Tracking Down the Shows You Can't Miss

In these United Streaming–Obsessed States, with the 2016 presidential election around the corner, we were curious as to which states love which political television shows the most. As you review our findings, you may notice that while 1600 Penn's run on air was brief (just three months!), Americans are still eating it up. Oh, and surprise, surprise...the only place The West Wing appears in any state's top five is in DC–and it ranks #1.

Highlights from the Western States

24 has quite a stronghold in the west; Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oregon are (still) some of Jack Bauer's biggest fans. And Nevada, home to Sin City and the Mob Museum, seems to be especially enthralled with crime-focused politically-charged shows like 24 and The Wire. Further, the midwest enjoys a good laugh over political comedies much more than political dramas; they're most likely to lobby for a 1600 Penn return.
