Instead of trying to remember to pay your bill each month, opt for AutoPay, an automatic recurring payment system. AutoPay is a great choice for you if you forget to pay your bill or constantly, unintentionally miss bill payments. Even better, AutoPay can save you from paying late fees on bills or having your services cut off because you forgot a payment.

How Does AutoPay Work?

AutoPay works by making an automatic deduction from the payment method you approve. AutoPay can deduct the bill on the date it’s due or on an earlier, recurring date of your choice. The AutoPay system works through CenturyLink, is completely secure, and can only access your approved payment method.

How Do I Enroll in AutoPay?

You have two AutoPay enrollment options: online or by mail. To easily enroll in AutoPay online, log in to your My CenturyLink account. Click “My Bill” in the header, scroll to “Billing Preferences,” and click “Enroll” next to the AutoPay option.

If it’s easier for you to sign up via mail, download and print a copy of the CenturyLink payment authorization form.

When Does AutoPay Take Effect?

Once you sign up, AutoPay will apply to the next billing cycle. You should get a notice that your bill has been paid with a message like “Thanks for using AutoPay.”
